ABRAHAM ACCORDS: Jared Kushner Hints At Major New Middle East Breakthrough

Six years after the Abraham Accords' launch, Jared Kushner indicated the Middle East may be approaching another significant diplomatic breakthrough. Marking the anniversary, the former senior White House adviser and key architect of the normalization agreements reflected on accomplishments many had deemed unachievable.

"Six years ago, President Trump launched the Abraham Accords, opening a new chapter of peace, partnership and prosperity in the Middle East," Kushner wrote. "Many said it was impossible. But with bold leadership, persistence and a small group of people willing to challenge old assumptions, we proved that even what seems impossible can be achieved."

Kushner criticized prior diplomatic approaches, contending the region had long operated within failed frameworks focused on managing rather than resolving conflict. He attributed the Abraham Accords' success to prioritizing shared interests over entrenched disagreements. The agreements, Kushner stated, have generated billions of dollars in trade, expanded investment, enhanced security cooperation, and strengthened relationships between Israel and Arab partners.

Kushner's forward-looking remarks drew particular focus. "The Middle East is once again at a turning point," He wrote. "Today, there are opportunities for breakthroughs that many will say are impossible." He suggested additional normalization prospects exist if regional leaders embrace unconventional approaches, though he did not specify particular countries or ongoing negotiations.

"We surprised the world once," Kushner concluded. "With the right leadership, focus, patience and courage, I believe we can do it again."
