BLOCKADE BREACH: U.S. Forces Fire on Container Ship Attempting to Reach Iranian Port
U.S. forces reportedly fired on a Panama-flagged container ship that attempted to breach the American blockade of Iranian ports earlier today, The Wall Street Journal reports. The Vela Nova was hit by a missile fired from a U.S. helicopter, sparking a fire onboard as it traveled through the Gulf of Oman.
