A Board of Peace official met Monday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss a newly reached disarmament agreement with Hamas, according to a statement from the board.

President Donald Trump announced the agreement last Thursday as part of a broader ceasefire deal reached last year. It calls for Israel to cease military operations and for Hamas and its allies in Gaza to halt militant activity, and outlines general terms for the decommissioning process.
