British pop singer Boy George released the song "We Will Dance Again" On Sunday in support of Israel and Jewish communities following the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led attack.
The Culture Club frontman shared the track on social media, where it accumulated millions of views. The song addresses the Hamas-led assault on southern Israel and takes issue with what he characterizes as unequal criticism of Israel, while expressing solidarity with victims.
The lyrics include the lines, "You say genocide, I say war / When you're attacked, that's what the army's for," And in the chorus, "If you're ever confused / I stand with the Jews."
The track incorporates Hebrew elements and recurring references to dancing, interpreted as a tribute to those killed in the Nova music festival attack.
