Students at Lubavitch Girls High School presented their annual production, Throne Apart, on February 25, following weeks of rehearsals. Directed by Mrs. Sheindy Zirkind, the show was led by production heads Mirel Deitsch, Rachely Dugan, Zeldy Kleinman, and Sadie Nathan, who oversaw various departments and contributed to staging the songs, dances, and dramatic scenes.
Cast members expressed enthusiasm about their participation. One production head stated, "Production gave me a chance to really live it up in the best way possible. I loved every minute and wish I could do it again." Another added, "Production was a great way for me to use my skills and shine on stage. I'm so happy I got that experience!"
Students involved in the dramatic elements also reflected positively on the experience. "I loved being in drama. It was the coolest experience, and I had the best time of my life," One student said. Another noted, "The dances and drama choirs flowed into each other seamlessly."
The production tells the story of the First Bais Hamikdash era, focusing on King Rechavam and King Yeravam's division of the kingdom. Through the narrative of Tirtza and her family, the show explores themes of loyalty, courage, faith, sacrifice, and commitment to Hashem.
