A missile penetrated defenses in Jordan following sustained attacks, resulting in three U.S. Soldier deaths at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base. During one day of heightened activity, U.S. Forces across the Middle East discharged approximately 50 Patriot interceptors, with each costing roughly $6 million. Earlier in the conflict, Iran used drones to assist in tracking a U.S. F-15E, which was subsequently shot down over southern Iran by a shoulder-fired missile.
