A small drone was recovered Saturday in the Givat HaAvot neighborhood of Kiryat Arba, near Hebron, where National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir resides, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
No injuries were reported. The IDF took possession of the device for examination.
A military source said the drone was found in Ben-Gvir's neighborhood but not near his home. Kan News reported that the drone belonged to a local youth and had fallen on Friday.
In September, the Shin Bet and Israel Police announced the arrest of a Hebron-based cell suspected of plotting to assassinate Ben-Gvir using explosive drones. Investigators said the suspects received funding from Hamas headquarters in Turkey and were motivated by the war in Gaza.
