This year marks the 36th yahrzeit of HaChossid Rabbi JJ Hecht, whose commitment to the Rebbe's mission continues to influence successive generations.
A Siyum and Suedah will take place on Tuesday evening, July 28, 2026, at Yeshivas Hadar Hatorah - Kol Yaakov Yehudah, located at 824 Eastern Parkway. The event will feature personal accounts involving the Rebbe and Rabbi JJ Hecht, examining enduring lessons that have preserved their legacy.
The program runs from 8:00 to 10:00 PM, with livestream coverage available from 8:15 to 9:15 PM. Maariv is scheduled for 9:45 PM. Attendance is open to those who knew Rabbi JJ personally as well as those interested in learning about his life and work. Both in-person and virtual participation options are available.
