FLATBUSH: Three Suspects Arrested After Shomrim Tracks Vehicle Linked To Multiple Jewelry Scams

Three suspects were arrested in Flatbush on Thursday after volunteers with Flatbush Shomrim tracked a vehicle connected to multiple jewelry scams. The vehicle was linked to an incident targeting a Jewish victim on Shabbos near Ocean Parkway and Avenue M, as well as a similar case in Yonkers.

Shomrim obtained the vehicle's license plate and continued surveillance after learning of the Yonkers connection. When the vehicle returned to Brooklyn, Shomrim members followed it as occupants approached another potential victim near East 18th Street and Avenue L. The suspects appeared to attempt a similar scam at that location, though no property was taken.

Police stopped the vehicle near Avenue N and Ocean Parkway, where the three occupants were taken into custody. Authorities are investigating the suspects' possible involvement in the earlier incidents in Brooklyn and Yonkers.
