For the first time, more than 350 campers and staff assembled together for a camp-wide photograph on CGI Chai's new grounds.
The image documents more than a single moment. It reflects months of effort, significant facility upgrades, and the start of a new era for CGI Chai. In advance of camp operations, hundreds of thousands of dollars were directed toward the property, funding improvements to the septic system, electrical infrastructure, grounds, sound system, and other critical infrastructure.
The campus now hosts what staff describe as chayus, laughter, friendship, and growth. One parent noted that her daughter's entire chassidishkeit is fueled by CGI Chai.
As the camp expands, organizers are preparing for the next major undertaking: construction of a new winterized dining hall and commercial kitchen. The project, with an estimated cost of approximately $1.5 million, is intended to enhance the camp experience, enable year-round programming, and improve accessibility for additional families.
