Huckabee: Iran's ballistic missiles can now reach European cities

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee stated Sunday that Iran's ballistic missile capabilities have expanded significantly, despite the Iranian regime being weakened by recent developments.
Speaking on Fox & Friends, Huckabee said, "The Iranian regime is weaker than it has been in 47 years. The infliction of harm to them and the pain to them, is not something that is imagined. Their ability to produce a nuclear weapon has been greatly set back." However, he noted that Tehran's missile capacity "unfortunately, has grown."
Huckabee cited a dramatic expansion in Iran's range capability, stating that within one year, Iran extended its ballistic missile delivery distance from 2,000 kilometers to over 4,100 kilometers. "That puts their capacity to touch any city in most of Europe. London, Paris, Berlin, Rome. All of those cities are now in the sights of Iran," He said, adding, "How long will it be until they can launch one toward the United States?"
In March, during what was termed "Operation Epic Fury," Iran launched a long-range missile toward Diego Garcia, a joint U.S.-U.K. Military base in the Indian Ocean. The strike was unsuccessful, according to Britain's defense ministry.
The Israel Defense Forces stated that Iran had launched "a long-range missile for the first time since the start of 'Operation Roaring Lion' that could reach a distance of ~4,000 km." The IDF added: "We have been saying it: The Iranian terrorist regime poses a global threat. Now, with missiles that can reach London, Paris or Berlin."
A Hudson Institute senior fellow assessed that Iran may have used its Ghaem-100 missile - developed under its civilian space program - in the attack. Britain, France, and Germany had warned the UN Security Council in 2022 that the Ghaem-100 could function as an intermediate-range ballistic missile, noting its technological crossover with long-range ballistic missile development.
