Israeli cybersecurity unicorn Cyera announced it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Oasis Security, a fellow Israeli startup focused on non-human identity and AI agent access management, in a transaction valued at $1 billion.
The deal structure includes approximately $700 million in cash, with the remainder in Cyera shares. The companies have not officially disclosed additional terms.
Cyera CEO Yotam Segev said the acquisition combines identity and data security capabilities into a single platform designed to secure the "agentic enterprise." He cited a nearly 500% increase in non-human identities within Fortune 500 companies over the previous six months as a driver for the move.
Cyera was founded in 2021 by Segev and CTO Tamar Bar-Ilan. The company recently completed a $600 million funding round that valued it at $12 billion.
Following the deal's close, Oasis will function as an independent unit within Cyera.
