For two decades, nearly four hundred Chabad Houses worldwide have hosted weekly Torah Studies classes, where participants gather to study the weekly parshah using curriculum materials bearing the program's name.
Torah Studies offers an in-depth learning experience centered on messages drawn from the Rebbe's Torah. To refresh its offerings for the upcoming year, the program is partnering with Rabbi Shneur Ashkenazi, whose shiurim have gained popularity in Israel.
Rabbi Ahrele Loschak, general editor of Torah Studies, credits Rabbi Ashkenazi's "unique ability to present classic ideas from the Rebbe's Torah in language that is fresh, relevant, and compelling to today's audience - without watering down the original sichah or Chassidishe concept."
The coming year comprises four seasons with fifty lessons covering the weekly parshah from Bereshis through Sukkos. While Rabbi Ashkenazi's material provides the foundation, the Torah Studies team has developed, researched, and refined each class into the full, text-based format instructors expect.
Registration for Torah Studies 5787 is open. Communities can bring the program for $850, equaling $17 per lesson. Those seeking more information may contact [email protected].
