Yeshiva Ohr Naftoli New Windsor held its inaugural alumni event on March 22nd at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood. The gathering brought together school leadership, faculty and former students to strengthen connections maintained beyond their time at the yeshiva.
Menahel Rabbi Ahron Yosef Pitter opened the evening with remarks, followed by words of blessing from Rabbi Boruch N. Werner, an 11th grade rebbe at the institution. Rosh Hayeshiva Rabbi Moshe Silberberg delivered an address, with remarks also coming from Rabbi Dov Shechter, Alumni Association Chairman, and Rabbi Pinchos Braunstein, Alumni Representative. Board of Directors President Yisroel Orzel closed the program with words of encouragement. Attendees reminisced about their shared experiences at the school, with organizers indicating the event is intended as the first of ongoing alumni gatherings.
