In Almaty, shluchim continue work near the resting place of Harav Levi Yitzchok, advancing the religious outreach begun by the rabbi to spread Jewish practice throughout the country.

Each year on Chof Av, the Rebbe would hold a gathering in his father's memory and encourage followers to contribute to a special fundraising effort in his honor. In 5739, the Rebbe blessed those who would donate, stating that God would repay them with significant abundance, "up to 500 times as much!"

Participants in the current campaign can access this blessing while honoring the Rebbe and Reb Levi Yitzchak and supporting Jewish communities in Kazakhstan. "Every year we hear wondrous stories of people who donated to campaign and saw miracles. Take part now in honor of the Rebbe, in honor of Reb Levi Yitzchak and for all the Jews of Kazakhstan!" The shluchim say.

Donor names will be mentioned for blessings at the holy resting place.

Contributions support the shluchim's religious activities, maintain a candle at the resting place, and preserve the sacred site. A raffle offering an all-inclusive trip to Almaty - including two airline tickets to the location and full accommodations - will be held among donors.
