During a Channel 14 interview, Moshe Saada addressed escalating tensions with Iran and indicated that military action could be imminent. "We all know that we're approaching a strike on Iran - perhaps even this weekend. Those are the current assessments," He said.
As concerns about a potential confrontation grew, multiple municipalities began opening public bomb shelters in preparation for possible developments. The Health Ministry announced that Israel's healthcare system stands ready to respond to any outcome from a worsening security situation.
The ministry said it is conducting regular assessments and monitoring the situation closely. The National Hospitalization Authority convened Thursday to review preparedness protocols and confirm that hospitals and the healthcare system are equipped for any escalation. Coordination with hospitals and health maintenance organizations nationwide is proceeding.
The Health Ministry emphasized it maintains close coordination with the Home Front Command, the defense establishment, and relevant healthcare bodies to ensure continuous medical treatment and healthcare delivery regardless of developments. Officials said new directives and public updates will be issued as needed, and instructed Israelis to follow only official guidance from authorized authorities.
