Police announced Monday that 16-year-old Efrat Menachem of Kochav Ya'akov has been found safe after being missing for 11 days, concluding an extensive search operation.

The teenager was located "safe and sound," According to a police statement, and is doing well. Authorities thanked the public for sharing missing-person alerts and assisting in the search efforts.

Efrat was last seen on the morning of July 24 at approximately 8:00 a.m. Near the community of Beit Elazari. When contact with her was lost, police launched an intensive search amid concerns for her safety.

Officers from the Binyamin Police Station in the Judea and Samaria District coordinated with additional security agencies throughout the operation, repeatedly seeking public information to aid in locating the missing teen.

Following her recovery, police officially ended the search and expressed appreciation to all those who participated in the effort.
