"Move Heaven and Earth": Family's Heart-Wrenching Plea For Soldier Seriously Wounded in Lebanon

Medical teams at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa are working to save the life of a 26-year-old IDF soldier from Karmiel who sustained serious injuries during an operation in southern Lebanon. The soldier, identified as Dolev, is hospitalized in intensive care, sedated and on mechanical ventilation. His family has maintained a vigil at his bedside and issued an appeal asking the public to pray for his recovery.

Dolev was wounded last week during a clearing operation in the village of Majdal Zoun, roughly six to eight kilometers from Israel's northern border. A unit entering a building to conduct a search discovered it was booby-trapped. An explosive device detonated, causing part of the structure to collapse on the soldiers. The company commander and a combat medic were killed in the blast. Four soldiers from the unit were seriously wounded, including Dolev.

Rescue and medical forces from the Northern Command and Israeli Air Force responded under difficult conditions and fire, evacuating the casualties by helicopter to hospitals in Israel. Upon arrival at Rambam, Dolev received immediate lifesaving treatment. His condition is described as serious and stable, though critical. His family continues to request public prayers for his recovery.
