Netanyahu Rejects 15-Point Document, Vows No IDF Withdrawal Until Hamas Fully Disarmed

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated Sunday that Israel rejects a 15-point document under discussion and that the Israel Defense Forces will not withdraw from any areas until Hamas is fully disarmed.

Speaking at the start of the weekly Cabinet meeting, Netanyahu dismissed recent rumors of Israeli weakness or retreats on multiple fronts. He said the IDF will continue operating to eliminate threats against Israeli forces and civilians.

"Israel rejects the 15-point document," Netanyahu said. "The IDF will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed, and will continue to thwart threats against our forces and citizens."

He stressed that disarmament must be complete, covering both heavy and light weaponry, and not a superficial arrangement. Netanyahu noted that Israel is discussing the matter with the United States, saying that while some American ideas are acceptable, others are not, and Israel will stand firm where necessary.

On Iran, Netanyahu stated that the Islamic Republic has attacked multiple countries in the region and beyond but has refrained from striking Israel in recent weeks. He attributed this to Tehran's awareness of the severe response it would face.

"I deeply appreciate President Trump; he is a great friend of ours in the White House," Netanyahu said, praising the U.S.-Israel partnership against Iran's nuclear program. He reiterated that as long as he remains prime minister, Iran will not obtain nuclear weapons.

Regarding Lebanon, Netanyahu said Israeli forces have conducted forceful operations in recent days, including the elimination of terrorists on the Ali al-Tahir ridge. He described the efforts as conducted with prudence, wisdom and determination but declined to provide further details.

Netanyahu declared that no Palestinian state will be established in Gaza or in Judea and Samaria under his leadership.

"As long as I am Prime Minister, a Palestinian state will not be established - neither in Gaza nor in Judea and Samaria. Neither 'Fatah-stan' nor 'Hamas-stan,'" He said.

Netanyahu contrasted Israel's ground operations - entering Rafah and the Philadelphi Corridor, operating in Lebanon against Hezbollah leadership and rocket stockpiles, and striking Iran twice - with critics who previously urged restraint or withdrawal. He said Israel's security interests are defended in reality, not through public relations.
