Netanyahu's "Cabinets:" The Select Advisory Groups Counseling the Prime Minister

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has been conducting regular consultations with two separate advisory groups, one addressing security issues and the other focused on political strategy ahead of upcoming elections, according to reporting by Kan News. The security-oriented "Officers' Forum" Comprises senior reserve officers Effi Eitam, Chezi Nehama, Erez Wiener and Yiftach Ron-Tal, convening every week or two for Netanyahu to solicit their assessments on security matters. A second group, established to advise on campaign strategy, meets approximately once every week and a half through both telephone and in-person discussions. That group includes Justice Minister Yariv Levin, Coalition Chairman Ofir Katz, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli and Energy Minister Eli Cohen.
