A new Maariv poll shows Likud gaining two seats to reach 22 mandates following Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington and meeting with President Donald Trump. However, the coalition bloc remains at 49 seats, still well short of a governing majority.
The opposition bloc holds 57 seats, also below a majority threshold. The newly formed Zionist Home Party, led by Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, clears the electoral threshold with four seats, potentially giving the anti-Netanyahu bloc a path to 61 seats.
Among opposition parties, Beyachad and the Democrats each lost two seats this week. Yashar, led by Gadi Eisenkot, leads with 23 projected seats, while Arab parties hold steady at 10 combined seats.
The full projection shows Yashar at 23 seats; Likud at 22; Beyachad at 15; Yisrael Beiteinu at 10; the Democrats at 9; United Torah Judaism at 8; Otzma Yehudit at 7; Shas at 7; Hadash-Ta'al at 5; Ra'am at 5; and Religious Zionism at 5. Zionist Home receives 4 seats. Balad and Blue and White fall below the threshold.
A hypothetical scenario involving a new party formed by Benny Gantz, Ayelet Shaked, Yuli Edelstein, and Dedi Simchi would yield four seats. This would push Zionist Home below the threshold and give the coalition 50 mandates while reducing the opposition to 56 seats.
In leadership preferences among opposition voters, 45% selected Gadi Eisenkot, 25% chose Naftali Bennett, 11% preferred Avigdor Lieberman, 10% backed Yair Golan, and 9% remained undecided.
In head-to-head matchups, Bennett leads Netanyahu 44% to 39%. Eisenkot performs stronger, leading 48% to 38%-the largest margin recorded by the pollster. Netanyahu leads Lieberman 43% to 39%.
