A Channel 13 News poll released Tuesday night found Prime Minister Binyomin Netanyahu's Likud party tied with Gadi Eisenkot's newly formed Yashar! Party at 21 Knesset seats each. The survey indicated that parties opposed to Netanyahu would hold a parliamentary majority if elections were held today.
The Together party, headed by Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, was projected to win 14 seats, followed by the Democrats with 11 and Yisrael Beytenu with 10. Shas and United Torah Judaism were each forecast to secure 8 seats. Otzma Yehudit would receive 7 seats, Hadash-Ta'al 6, and both the Religious Zionist Party and Ra'am 5 seats each. A joint list led by Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel was projected to clear the electoral threshold with 4 seats.
Blue and White and Balad were both projected to fall below the threshold required to enter the Knesset.
According to the poll's distribution, the right-wing bloc would control 49 seats, while parties opposed to Netanyahu would command 60 seats without relying on support from Arab parties.
In a head-to-head comparison, Gadi Eisenkot led Netanyahu 47% to 35%. When Netanyahu was matched against Naftali Bennett, Netanyahu trailed 40% to 43%.
