'Not our way': Israel clears out unauthorized Qusra outpost

Israeli security forces dismantled two unauthorized outposts overnight Thursday, one adjacent to the Palestinian village of Qusra and another near Jalud. The operation included removing equipment and a sheep pen, with one Israeli detained during the action.

Both outposts were located in Area B, where the Palestinian Authority holds administrative control while Israel maintains security responsibility. The IDF stated it was preparing for potential attempts to reestablish the Qusra encampment and imposed a closed military zone order restricting access to local residents only.

The military characterized Israeli entry into Palestinian homes and areas in the Samaria region as "illegal, obscene and unacceptable," Saying it "strongly condemns" Such incidents and would address those involved through cooperation with security forces.

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee condemned the events, saying Israeli security forces arrived at the request of the United States. "The actions of those who attacked this family's home are criminal," Huckabee wrote, describing it as "a shocking act of terrorism designed to intimidate and harass this family."
