Poll: Erdan, Edelstein, Hendel And Tropper Fail To Cross The Threshold

A Kantar Institute poll reported by Kan News on Sunday found that four recently formed right-wing parties - led by Gilad Erdan, Yuli Edelstein, Chili Tropper, and Yoaz Hendel - fail to meet the electoral threshold.

The survey showed Likud and Yashar, led by Gadi Eisenkot, tied at 23 seats each. Yair Golan's Democrats party and Avigdor Liberman's Yisrael Beytenu each secured 10 seats, while Otzma Yehudit, UTJ, and Shas received eight seats apiece. Ra'am took six seats, with the Religious Zionist party and Hadash-Ta'el each gaining five.

On prime ministerial suitability, Netanyahu maintained a 41% to 31% lead over Bennett, unchanged from the previous poll. Netanyahu expanded his advantage over Eisenkot to seven percentage points - up from four - with 41% favoring Netanyahu compared with 34% for Eisenkot.

In a direct comparison between Bennett and Eisenkot, the Yashar chairman led 31% to 20%, narrowing an 22-point gap from the prior week's survey to 11 points.
