Poll Shows Netanyahu's Bloc Back Above Majority as Likud Strengthens

A Channel 14 News poll released Monday evening projects the right-wing bloc securing 62 seats in the 120-member Knesset, with Prime Minister Binyomin Netanyahu's Likud party showing strengthened support compared to the outlet's previous survey.

Likud is forecast to emerge as the largest party with 33 seats, representing a gain of two mandates. Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party is projected to finish second with 23 seats. Shas and the Democrats are each expected to win 10 seats, while Yisrael Beytenu is forecast to capture eight.

The Beyachad party and United Torah Judaism are each projected to receive seven seats. Otzma Yehudit and Religious Zionism are each forecast to win six seats, while Hadash-Ta'al and Ra'am are each expected to secure five seats.

The survey indicates the center-left bloc would gain 48 seats and Arab parties would hold 10 seats. Several parties would fall short of the electoral threshold, including Balad at 2.3%, Zehut at 1.3%, the Reservists' Zionist Home party at 1.2%, Gilad Erdan's party at 0.9%, Ofer Winter's party at 0.6%, and Blue and White at 0.4%.

When asked who is best suited to serve as prime minister, Netanyahu led with 54% support, followed by Eisenkot at 34%. Naftali Bennett received 6%, Avigdor Liberman drew 5%, and Benny Gantz finished with 1%.
