A farbrengen led by Rabbi Yossi Paltiel marked the launch of a building campaign for Bais Levi Yitzchak of Pomona, providing an occasion for participants to engage with the Rebbe's directive to study the Torah of Harav Levi Yitzchak and support institutions bearing his name.

The Rebbe annually encouraged Chassidim to study Harav Levi Yitzchak's teachings and strengthen organizations established in his memory. In a letter before Chof Av, the Rebbe wrote: "כ״ף מנחם אב, יום היארצייט וההילולא של אאמו״ר לוי יצחק ז״ל... ועלי החוב והזכות גדול להציע ולבקש, שכל אחד ואחד ילמוד בהתוועדות מתורתו, ולנדב ביומא דין לזכות נשמתו." He added: "Chof Menachem Av, the yahrtzeit-hilula of my revered father, Harav Levi Yitzchak... I feel it my great obligation and privilege to suggest and request that every person study from his Torah at the farbrengen and give tzedakah on this day for the merit of his soul."

Over time, the Rebbe devoted significant effort to preserving and disseminating his father's legacy through publishing his teachings and supporting related initiatives.

Bais Levi Yitzchak of Pomona was established in this spirit. The synagogue maintains regular Torah study sessions devoted to Harav Levi Yitzchak's teachings and offers programming in Torah and Chassidus. Contributions to the building campaign represent participation in one of the Rebbe's central requests.
