A miniature Sefer Torah standing 26 centimeters tall was presented to the Safra family during bar mitzvah celebrations held in Israel over several days. The Torah featured letters inscribed by prominent rabbinic scholars of the generation.
Yeshivas Ateres Shlomo, which presented the gift, called it the "Torah of the Gedolim." The scroll was handwritten by a master sofer, with leading rabbinic authorities personally writing individual letters as a merit for the bar mitzvah bochur and his family.
The Torah was housed in a traditional Sephardic-style case engraved with handwritten blessings and signatures from many of the generation's foremost rabbinic leaders, serving as both a sacred scroll and a keepsake.
The presentation was distinguished by its display: the Torah and case were placed inside a miniature replica of the Aron Kodesh housed in the yeshiva's main bais medrash at the Safra Campus in Rishon LeZion, built as an exact scale reproduction of the original.
The celebrations brought together hundreds of family members, friends, rabbanim, roshei yeshiva, and benefactors from around the world to honor the bar mitzvah bochur and the Safra family's support of Torah institutions.
