Rav Shraga Shteinman conveyed a message about faith and priorities during a meeting with a yeshiva head, voicing surprise at the focus many place on geopolitical developments rather than the anticipated arrival of Moshiach.

The visiting Rosh Yeshiva met with Rav Shteinman during the Nine Days to discuss halachic and hashkafic questions regarding a summer camp beginning after Tishah B'Av.

The Rosh Yeshiva raised concerns about escalating tensions with Iran and the potential for military conflict, asking whether uncertain political and military circumstances warranted slowing or halting camp preparations.

Rav Shteinman responded with an observation on Jewish priorities. "People are talking about Trump and not about Moshiach?" He asked. He expressed concern that many were preoccupied by fears over political and military developments, while few anticipated Moshiach's arrival - an event that would make current plans immaterial as the Jewish people journey to Yerushalayim and the rebuilt Beis Hamikdash.
