Israeli security forces arrested seven Palestinians from Judea on suspicion of involvement in an assault on a Jewish civilian, Israel Police announced on Sunday.

The incident took place overnight Saturday at Moreno Farm near Beitar Illit in the Gush Etzion area. According to police, the suspects entered private property, prompting a confrontation. One Israeli was struck with a club and sustained light injuries during the altercation.

Israel Defense Forces soldiers and a nearby community's security coordinator responded first, apprehending the seven Palestinians and transferring them to Judea and Samaria District Police.

Officers conducting searches in the area recovered several knives and "incendiary materials" Concealed in nearby bushes. The items were seized as evidence.

The suspects were questioned and held in custody pending a detention extension as the investigation continues.

According to data from the Rescuers Without Borders NGO, Palestinian attacks on Israeli Jews in Judea and Samaria reached at least 5,051 instances in 2025. The figures exclude attacks on Israeli security personnel during counter-terrorism operations in Palestinian Authority-controlled towns.

The annual report documented 24 Israelis killed and more than 400 wounded in the region during 2025. The documented attacks included 3,299 rock-throwing incidents, 655 laser-pointer attacks on drivers, 458 firebomb attacks, 286 explosive attacks, and 19 shootings. The figures were cross-checked against official Israeli security agency data.
