An Israeli sustained a moderate leg injury in a stabbing attack near Ganim in northern Samaria on Thursday afternoon. The assailant was shot dead by Israeli soldiers at the scene.
The attack occurred at a recently established post in the Ganim area where preparations are underway for the re-establishment of a permanent community. According to authorities, the terrorist drove to the location during a logistical operation at a nearby outpost. After stabbing the victim, two soldiers on scene opened fire and killed the attacker.
The incident was the second stabbing attack in Samaria that day. Earlier Thursday, an Israeli was seriously wounded in a stabbing attack at Avraham Farm near Elon Moreh while helping to extinguish a fire in the area.
