The top three finalists in this year's Chinuch Pitch competition have been selected following a judging process and public voting round. The finalists will present their proposals live Wednesday at the international Kinus Hamechanchim.
The three competing ideas address different needs in Jewish education. Rabbi Yoel Vogel's Mechanchim Exchange Resource Drive proposes a searchable website where Lubavitcher teachers can share and access teaching materials tailored to Chabad-style and Chassidishe topics. Rabbi Zalmy Kudan's The Jewish Classroom would operate as an online marketplace for frum teachers to buy and sell curriculum for both Jewish and general studies. Rabbi Shneur Zalman Phillips' Real Life Lessons would offer a searchable collection of Chassidishe stories to help teachers incorporate content into their lessons.
During the ceremony, Kinus participants will vote to determine which idea receives up to $18,000 in funding to develop. Those unable to attend in person may watch the presentation live.
The judges credited for narrowing submissions to the final three are Rabbi Chanoch Hecht, Rabbi Dovid Blasberg, and Rabbi Shneur Wilhelm.
