Toveedo is releasing a new original film called "The Keeper of the Keilim" This Tisha B'Av.
The film follows a ten-year-old named Naftali and his family on a trip to Eretz Yisrael with tour guide Roni. During a visit to the Kosel tunnels, Naftali discovers a hidden opening beneath the ancient stones that leads to a secret chamber.
Producer Chaim Hershkowitz conceived the idea during his own visit to the Kosel tunnels last year. Reflecting on the traditional account that the keilim of the Beis HaMikdash lie buried beneath the Har HaBayis, he considered the possibility that someone might stumble upon them. "I thought to myself: they could be right here, on the other side of this wall," Hershkowitz recalls. "And then the question hit me, what if someone accidentally found them, just sitting there in storage after all these centuries? I couldn't get it out of my head. That question became this film."
Rather than focusing solely on the solemnity of the day, the film combines Tisha B'Av's history and meaning with a forward-looking perspective centered on the building of the third Beis HaMikdash. The movie incorporates humor, heart, and historical elements designed to be accessible and engaging for viewers of all ages.
