Trump: US has 'massive amounts' Of munitions

The United States maintains "massive amounts" Of munitions, President Donald Trump stated early Thursday, as he pledged to pursue those responsible for disclosures regarding American weapons stockpiles during the conflict with Iran.

"Large amounts are being manufactured and shipped to the U.S. as needed," Trump wrote on Truth Social, noting that American defense companies "are building the largest number of plants and factories in our country's history."

Trump vowed action against those who leaked information, stating: "The 'leakers' of these treasonous statements are being hunted down. Long term jail sentences will be sought!"

On Tuesday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth responded to a CNN report alleging the U.S. Military had depleted nearly 80% of its interceptor stockpile for a key missile defense system. Hegseth disputed the claim on X, writing: "That banner is NOT TRUE, CNN. Shame on you" And added, "We don't hate the Fake News media enough."

Trump said Wednesday that American military readiness against Iran was genuine. In remarks to a Las Vegas Fox affiliate, he stated: "In life they know when you're ready to go and when you're just bluffing" And "Now we were ready to go and we are ready to go. We have to do this."

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said Thursday that a proposed shipping arrangement through the Strait of Hormuz being negotiated by Iran and Oman could last two to four months, according to state-run IRNA. The countries have reached preliminary understanding on route coordinates, though a final agreement remains unsigned.

U.S. Central Command reported Wednesday that "the U.S. continues enforcement of the blockade against Iran." As of that date, American forces have redirected 48 commercial vessels, disabled two and boarded two. The naval blockade targets Iranian ports and coastal areas to restrict oil revenues and maritime trade.
