Shluchim Placement Announces Chazzan Placement

The Shluchim Office has launched a dedicated Chazzan Placement track on its newly updated Shluchim Placement platform ahead of the upcoming Yomim Tovim.

The platform provides a centralized location where Shluchim and Chazzanim can connect for Tishrei. Shluchim are able to post available positions, while Chazzanim can build profiles and browse opportunities suited to their experience and availability.

The Shluchim Placement program underwent a comprehensive redesign this year, incorporating new features intended to link Shluchim with potential staff and assist those seeking Shlichus positions in identifying suitable roles. Originally established by the Shluchim Office in 5749, the program has long matched individuals pursuing Shlichus opportunities with Shluchim in need of staffing.

Once Shluchim complete an application and receive administrative approval, they can view Chazzan profiles. Chazzanim can access open positions and apply customized filters to locate appropriate matches.

"In addition to the existing options for couples, Bochurim and girls, Chazzan Placement is an important tool for both Shluchim and Chazzanim this time of year," Said Rabbi Mendy Shemtov, Director of Development. ShluchimPlacement.org organizes listings into four categories - Girls, Bochurim, Chazzanim, and Couples - each with its own application process and category-specific filters.
