Toronto police says it arrested two more people for antisemitic protest in March
The Toronto Police Service announced Saturday that officers had executed a search warrant and arrested Daniela Bonamico, 40, and Shahram Nayeb-Yazdi, 63, in connection with an incident on March 15 involving six others previously arrested. The group had marched with antisemitic signs toward pro-Israel supporters and shouted derogatory slurs at them.

The group had marched with antisemitic signs toward pro-Israel supporters and shouted derogatory slurs at them.
Both individuals face charges of wilful promotion of hatred and public incitement of hatred. They were scheduled to appear in court in Toronto on Saturday.
None of the eight people arrested has been charged with a hate crime. However, the police department noted that such charges are often laid later by prosecutors, and the department's hate crimes unit participated in the investigation.
